Renkus-Heinz has launched control plugin-modules for Crestron and Q-SYS platforms, developed in partnership with the AV software developer Control Concepts. The plugins are designed to streamline integration and control of Renkus-Heinz loudspeaker systems in large-scale installations.
The modules provide a single-platform solution for system control across projects including airport terminals and houses of worship. The company says the plugins eliminate integration hurdles by ensuring compatibility across Renkus-Heinz products.
The plugins are backed by Control Concepts’ Supported Product Program, which ensures API integrations are tested, approved and endorsed by the manufacturer.
Brandon Heinz, product manager at Renkus-Heinz, said: “We are pleased to offer the first of our new series of 3rd-party plugins, specifically for Q-SYS and Crestron Series 4. These plugins have been widely requested by our customers, and we are excited to announce that they are now available to download for use on your next project.”
Steve Greenblatt, president and founder of Control Concepts, added: “We are proud to be selected as Renkus-Heinz’s partner for API integration with Crestron and Q-SYS. We value their focus on creating products that are programmer- and integrator-friendly, and the availability of endorsed and supported plugins is a strong example of this dedication.”
The company says it has additional plugins planned for future release.
