Renkus-Heinz appoints new team members

Joe Kaveney will be industrial engineering manager and Andrew Gizara joins as electrical engineer. Kaveney will work to optimise production, while Gizara will work in product design and development

Renkus-Heinz has added two new team members: Joe Kaveney assumes the role of industrial engineering manager and Andrew Gizara joins as electrical engineer.

Kaveney brings a wealth of engineering expertise to his new role, combined with a love of music. His diverse career spans from earning a US patent in the solar industry, to implementing approved processes in the aerospace sector. Alongside his professional accomplishments, Kaveney’s lifelong passion for music includes playing instruments, producing live events, and building interactive art installations.

“I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to leverage my passion for music and sound with my professional experience in process design and efficiency,” said Kaveney. “It is my pleasure to assist with the industrialisation of our business by establishing a robust fabrication process with an optimised supply chain – ultimately resulting in a truly lossless pro-audio experience from raw material to consumer.”

Joining the engineering department is Andrew Gizara, a prolific inventor with more than 20 US and foreign patents whose career spans decades in the fields of scientific instrumentation, AI, computers, networking/telephony, chips, and aerospace.

The move to Renkus-Heinz marks Gizara’s return to his first passion – audio electronics, where his fascination began in his early teens through experimenting with and building loudspeakers, amplifiers, mixers and music synthesisers.

Beyond his engineering prowess, Andrew’s creative side flourishes through playing piano, violin, synthesisers, and recording his own compositions that blend jazz with electronic music.

“I am thrilled to join a leading company in a competitive field providing products that I have always held great passion for building and actively experimenting with,” said Gizara. “It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to continue to further the development of such an innovative and pioneering enterprise.”

Kaveney will be working closely with VP operations Jim Mobley to optimise the production process, while Gizara will be working with engineering manager Chad DeFranco in product design and development.
