Brett O’Connor has joined AV reseller/integrator CDEC as director with immediate effect.
Connor, who previously managed a £50 million+ technology logistics firm, will assist and work in partnership with managing director Toni Barnett (pictured).
The move comes six months on from the untimely loss of CDEC’s owner and founder, Andy Duckworth.
Barnett is confident that now is the right time for the business to move to new levels: “As one of the UK’s leading AV reseller/integrators, with a speciality in the education market, it is our mission to continue to lead the industry in providing bespoke, innovative, fit for purpose AV solutions to clients across the country.
“With a strong focus on upholding our excellent standards of service delivery, our aim for the next three years is to grow and develop the business through maximising potential within both existing and new markets.
“Brett’s experience, support, guidance and insight will help the business to achieve these goals. We are delighted to have him on board and look forward to a successful partnership.
“Together, we will build on our full service offering of ‘design, plan, source, install, train, maintain’ to ensure that we are the only AV firm that clients need. Our friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff will continue to focus on understanding the needs of, and inspiring our customers.”
O’Connor said: “I am really looking forward to working with CDEC and will enjoy the new challenge. Toni and all of the team demonstrate a true passion for an industry that interests me greatly. The future is incredibly bright for this already high achieving business. I will assist in developing the business across new client sectors and helping it move forward to achieve new goals.”
