ISE 2015 is the place for the launch of a new venture called moovia, which will see Visivio moving into home theatre seating.
“ISE presents the prefect opportunity for us, because it delivers the audience – architects, designers, integrators and so on – that is important to us,” said Frank Dlugos, managing director.
According to Dlugos, there is real customer need for home cinema furnishing that is not mass-produced, and that reflects end user desire for something different and better. All of moovia’s offerings are designed and built in-house, which also means that, as well as offering a range of off-the-shelf options, moovia can provide custom design and manufacturing capability.
“Yes,” smiled Dlugos, “a customer can come to us with a sketch of the chair he wants, and we can create it. We even had one customer come to us with his own fabric – and we were able to create a chair for him using it.”
“Best of all,” he continued, “because we do everything in-house, we can even turn round custom designs in two to
three weeks.
“In an industry that’s increasingly becoming commoditised, the ability to add value and deliver differentiation is something that we believe can ensure our success.”
