Nítid is the latest offering from Barcelona-based Amate Audio, which is making its international debut here at ISE.
“Nítid marks our 45th anniversary, with a product series that is the culmination of our current development work in DSP, electroacoustic engineering and cabinet design,” said Joan Amate, the company’s VP and CTO.
The system currently comprises compact line array, sub-bass, column system and ultra low form-factor two-way FOH and stage monitor point-source systems.
Speaking to the ISE Daily, Amate noted: “We spent quite a lot of R&D time to keep the cabinets compact. The shape of the front grille is very particular; it’s our custom design which allows more high frequencies to come through. We’ve also made a very robust but very lightweight shell.”
Nítid features a proprietary 110x11o aluminium long throw waveguide in the N208 line array, a 6in full-range custom carbon fibre cone driver in the N26, N36 and N46 column systems, and the company’s universal switching mode power supply.
Integral plug-and-play power and control technology includes optimised DSP presets for near instantaneous setup and system configuration.
