New innovations for Intel Unite

New capabilities of the Intel Unite wireless collaboration solution are being highlighted during ISE.

Intel Unite is designed to enable users to start meetings quickly and easily share content to meeting spaces. No dongles, adaptors or cables are required and remote users and guests can easily connect into sessions in a secure way.

Visitors to the Intel stand are being invited to learn how the company is advancing interactive learning and collaboration across segments like education and enterprise. New partnerships with leading education companies Elmo and Hovercam now integrate Intel Unite with document cameras to create an interactive learning environment. This “untethers teachers from their desk”, the company says, and allows them to engage students one-on-one. Coupled with new form-factor support for Chromebooks, teachers and students can easily share classroom content and experience HD video streaming on the prevalent device in classrooms today.

Intel is also using ISE to spotlight advancements with Intel Unite that it says will enable end-users and IT to embrace digital transformation with ease. New usages around interactive displays are creating a paradigm shift, turning static displays into multi-purpose scenarios across any space, the company notes.

Visitors are able to learn how Intel Unite is creating ad hoc collaboration anywhere with digital signage while expanding collaboration across platforms to now include Linux. This makes Intel Unite one of the most open collaboration solutions available today, the company says.
