Make the most of Friday at ISE 2020 

ISE 2020 has a packed programme of events throughout Friday 14 February, its final day

The centrepiece of the final day of ISE 2020 is the ¡Hola Barcelona! event at 12:00 in the RAI Forum. Integrated Systems Events Managing Director Mike Blackman is introducing an event that looks back at 15 years of ISE in Amsterdam and ahead to the show’s future in Barcelona. He is joined on stage by key Spanish dignitaries, including the Minister of Enterprise and Knowledge in the Catalonian Government, as well as the CEOs of AVIXA and CEDIA. This free event is followed by a networking reception. 

The final event in the ISE 2020 conference line-up takes place in the morning. attractionsTECH by blooloop, held at the Hotel Okura, explores the business and technology strategies of visitor attractions, museums, theme parks and heritage sites. The programme includes the latest in interactive and immersive technology; look at integrating AV and multimedia on rollercoasters; and a session improvising a themed attraction concept in 20 minutes.

There is also a full programme of free thought leadership sessions on the Main Stage (Hall 14, stand 14-B190). The day begins with AVIXA’s Senior Director of Market Intelligence, Sean Wargo, giving the second part of his ‘Emerging Trends’ presentation. CEDIA is hosting sessions on ‘VR/AR/XR’ and ‘Designing MDUs’ (multi-dwelling units), and Main Stage sponsor Shure is talking about improving the meeting room experience. The afternoon sees two panel discussions from AV Magazine, on ‘The Workspace of the Future and ‘AV over IP’, and the final session of the day is a panel on ‘Recruiting New Talent’ organised by AVIXA, CEDIA, ISE and AV Magazine.

AVIXA has a full programme of FlashTrack sessions, beginning every half-hour between 11:00 and 14:30 on stand 13-N110. These sessions, which are free for AVIXA members, cover a range of topics across AV/IT, Design, Emerging Trends and User Experience. 

CEDIA is hosting free CEDIA Talks on its stand (1-E20) on ‘ANSI Standards and CEDIA’ (11:00) and ‘Video Compression’ (15:30), as well as holding Certification Exams for its ESC-T, ESC-N and ESC-D qualifications.

Exhibitor training sessions and demos, which run throughout the week, continue on the final day, with events organised by Barco, d&b audiotechnik, L-Acoustics, Martin Audio and Void Acoustics in their dedicated rooms off the showfloor.

With this programme, as well as 15 halls to explore on the show floor, ISE 2020 attendees can look forward to an exciting and fulfilling final day at the RAI Amsterdam.
