Apart Audio launched eight new products at ISE 2017: the MA Series of four new and intuitive mixing amplifiers, and the MASKC Series of four new installer-friendly loudspeakers.
Targeted at the fixed-install audio market, the Apart MA30, MA60, MA120 and MA240 mixing amplifiers are designed to give the end-user cutting-edge design and previously unseen ease of use.
The MA120 and MA240 (with RMS output power of 120W and 240W respectively) feature two mono balanced mic/line inputs, four music inputs (stereo line, mono summed), a mono balanced paging mic input and an emergency input. Four levels of priority apply, in left-to-right order on the rear panel.
The MA30 and MA60 (30W and 60W) are similarly equipped but with one balanced mic/line input and two music inputs.
Automatic standby mode, which reduces power consumption to 0.5W, is activated after 10 minutes without signal. It can be deactivated by pressing the standby, mic or source buttons, or by applying audio to the selected input or an emergency/paging signal.
The MASKC Series builds on the renowned Apart MASK loudspeaker, known by installers for its
ease of installation, sturdiness and high-quality sound at an affordable price.
There are four models in the series, each available in black or white. All are two-way speakers intended for indoor and outdoor use, manufactured from ABS plastic housing with a painted alumninium grille. The 70W MASK4C and MASK4CT models feature a 4.25in coated paper woofer and a 1in silk dome tweeter, while the 200W MASK6C and MASK6CT feature a 6.25in woofer.
All are supplied with a ClickMount bracket, which has a number of features to simplify installation: rear or top cable entry; integrated spirit level; installer-friendly connectors with levers; and a clicking adjustment mechanism that makes it simple to position multiple speakers at the same angle.
