The latest compact fibre optic extender from Opticis, the DPFX-700-TR, extends DisplayPort1.2 signal up to 200m, and transmits 4K (4096×2160) at 60Hz over one LC multi-mode fibre (OM3).
It is fully compatible with using Opticis’ new DPFX-1F14-TR and DPFX-300-TR as a pair, and a customer can choose a direct connection-type module on one side and a copper extension-type module on the other. The DPFX-700-TR also offers a variety of copper extensions to transfer data over longer distances without loss.
Also new is a compact, reliable HDMI 2.0 extender (HDFX-700-TR) and wall plate type converter (HDHF-4K). HDFX-700-TR extends an HDMI 2.0 signal up to 200m and transmits 4K at 60Hz over one LC multi-mode fibre. It transmits uncompressed and transparent data signals even when used with up to 3m copper cable as an intermediary. The HDHF-4K HDMI 2.0 wall plate multiformat converter receives HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 into optical HDMI 2.0 signal and transmits it up to 200m over OM3 without data compression or latency.
