Crestron to demo improved workflow with Fusion and Pinpoint

Companies that use Crestron Fusion in their building and the Crestron PinPoint app on iOS or Android smart devices can now benefit from an uninterrupted workflow and better productivity, as will be demonstrated on the Crestron stand at ISE 2016.

Through the connection of mobile devices and enterprise management solution, staff can complete tasks, such as finding and controlling meeting rooms or scheduling follow-up meetings on the spot and other calendar tasks, from their mobile device.

With PinPoint, there is no typing in IP addresses, manual dialling or having to connect devices for presentations, as all tasks can be handled straight from the smart device.

Also on show is the new Home Elements toolkit, which provides a set of object-oriented modules and templates that streamline the set-up of core functionality for home automation systems.

The aim is to provide simplicity to the deployment of custom automation systems, making it easier for programmers to deliver 4K video distribution and customised controls that work seamlessly across Crestron Pyng and 3-Series control platforms.

As a result, Crestron dealers can roll out fast and personalised luxury automation. They can also deliver a user experience that includes intuitive dropdown and slide-out windows, as well as scrolling lists across all system interfaces, including TSW touch screens, iOS devices, TSR-302 and MLX-3 remotes, along with Crestron’s latest digital graphics engines.

Developed in conjunction with Pyng technology, Home Elements delivers the performance, scalability and reliability of Crestron home automation without the need for dealers to learn how to use new software.
