Capital Summit experts explore investment; business development and M&A

The Capital Summit at ISE 2016 offers delegates a unique mixture of conference, workshop and training session as leading finance and business experts are questioned by moderators and the audience on the pertinent topics of the day.

The primary goal of the Capital Summit is to give ISE attendees the opportunity to listen to and interact with a group of respected professionals to discuss issues such as investment; acquisition; mergers and business development that may be affecting them and their businesses.

Taking place on the afternoon of 11 February the Capital Summit will include a discussion co-moderated by John Bowen of MediaBridge Capital Advisors and John Stiernberg of Stiernberg Consulting.

The Capital Summit panel includes: Wim Buyens, Senior Vice President, Entertainment and Corporate, Barco; Hans Swinnen, Chairman Board of Directors, Audioprof Group International; Brian Woodland, Senior Director of Business Development, Shure Incorporated and Neil MacTaggart, Director, Media Asset Capital.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include:

  • What investors look for in a company?
  • How to find qualified investors and alliance partners?
  • The ‘dos and don’ts of presenting your opportunity to investors.
  • The problem with investing in our industry and how to solve it.
  • Examples of successful mergers and acquisitions in our industry
  • How to get started if you do not have an exit strategy.

Immediately following the interactive audience/panel question and answer session, there will be a networking session for all Capital Summit attendees and speakers, which includes refreshments.

The Capital Summit will take place on Thursday 11th February, from 14:30 – 16:00 at the
Amsterdam RAI in room Room E102. Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. Registration fee (€49) includes admission to the Capital Summit, the networking reception, and exhibit pass for the full Integrated Systems Europe exhibition.
