The centrepiece of the Bowers & Wilkins stand at ISE 2016 was a custom high-end home cinema, designed to showcase the latest in surround sound formats including Dolby Atmos and, for the first time, DTS:X on what the company calls the world’s very best home cinema speakers. The cinema install, built in collaboration with soundproof solutions specialist Mutrox, was powered by Classé CT amplifiers and featured nine Bowers & Wilkins CWM8.3 speakers, five CCM8.5, a CWM8.5, two SW15 and two DB-1 subwoofers.
The Bowers & Wilkins stand also featured a number of new custom installation products, including some new areas for the brand such as marine speakers.
