After launching various elegant on-wall mounting Eve frames for the iPad, the Belgian company has now developed a table base for Eve Air and Eve mini.
The table base supports installation of the Eve frames on a table or desk in both residential and public applications. The table base is machined out of high-grade aluminium and is available in two versions, each optimised for either a portrait or landscape orientation of the iPad.
The Eve frames are powered by a puck-shaped USB charger that ensures that the iPod remains charged and is always ready for use. There is thus no need to take it off to load the battery and there are no unsightly cables or connections. A lockable security version is also available for the Eve frame.
Basalte says this new tabletop accessory leads to more ease of use and can be serves as a perfect solution for hotels or restaurants at the reception desk or as a publicity screen.
The company said the table base would also come in very handy as an extra screen in a kitchen or living room.
Basalte also recently announced that the iPad frame Eve Air is also compatible with the iPad Air 2 and Eve mini is now compatible with iPad mini 1, 2 and 3 versions.
