There are lots of different options when it comes to data centre, control room console or videowall control. But they often have limited integration, causing problems with stability – especially with connectivity and control from data centre to videowall.
AVCIT claims to offer an alternative to system integrators who prefer all-in-one control room KVM solutions, and even includes built-in videowall controller support for LED walls.
Every computer – or source – and console monitor connects to a gigabit switch via a transceiver node to become a KVM matrix, and can transmit HDMI, RS232/485, IR and USB over CAT cable for 90m. Console operators can use a hotkey to access the server, and switch between computers; a quick double click instantly displays the current PC to the display of other console operator, or pushes it to the videowall.
Operators can control the videowall on iOS or Windows, and can zoom in and out, or overlap by mouse or finger, to see a real-time preview of content and video.
