Analog Way to show latest LiveCore switcher

The latest addition to Analog Way’s LiveCore series of switchers is being presented at ISE 2016.

The NeXtage 08 is described as a high-end seamless switcher with dedicated live processing and is designed with a rugged reinforced chassis and hardware for demanding applications. Equipped with eight scalers, eight seamless inputs and two main outputs, the NeXtage 08 offers 28 input plugs: four HDMI, six DVI-D, two DisplayPort, eight3G-SDI and eight universal analog.

With two independent seamless mix layers per output, as well as an independent native background layer included for soft edge blending or individual screen modes, Analog Way says that the NeXtage 08 is an exciting tool to create impressive shows requiring two independently switched displays.

Switching between inputs is, according to the company, always truly seamless, and the NeXtage 08 also allows for clean cut switching between connectors on a given input. The NeXtage 08 offers what Analog Way claims is unique connectivity through an SDI SFP cage on each output, compatible with most SFP modules on the market.

The device is said to be able to handle any source from composite video, up to 2560 x 1600; DVI Dual-Link is available. It also outputs a variety of formats, including HDTV and computer format up to 2560 x 1600.

The NeXtage 08 is available with full 4K resolution I/O as an optional feature. With this option, the device supports 3840 x 2160 (UHDTV) and 4096 x 2160 resolutions (native resolution for DCI-compliant 4K).

The switcher features a full preview with all layers viewable, as well as customisable live source mosaic monitoring on an independent output. All sources and layers can be displayed in real time on the program, the preview and the live source mosaic monitoring output.
