With less than a month to go, here’s why the inaugural AV Technology Awards is an event not to be missed.
The aim of this combined and revamped event is to hit every part of the AV industry and provide an opportunity for integrators, end users, manufacturers and distributors to all celebrate their successes together. The focus of the award categories is still very much on teams and projects, but with broader entry criteria to include submissions from every part of the AV supply chain. Products and solutions are also a big part of the event, with entries closely linked with successful projects.
Whether you’re a one-man-band or a large, multinational corporate – you will have an equal chance of winning. And aside from the Outstanding Achievement Award, all awards will be vetted by an independent panel of judges.
The event has the backing of the industry with a number of prestigious sponsors, partners and supporters. We are very pleased to announce that ISE has been named the Red Carpet sponsor – continuing its partnership following a number of years as a sponsor at the Install Awards. JacobsMassey has been confirmed as the category sponsor for the Individual and Team Excellence awards. In addition, Crestron has come on-board as an Event Partner and the AV User Group as a Supporter.
Onto the night itself and we are excited to reveal a brand new host for the event. Comedian, writer, filmmaker and voice-over artist Tom Ward will preside over the celebrations. Tom has forged a successful path in the industry, with his inventive style incorporating his voice-over talents and improvisation, in addition to his innovative writing. In August last year, Tom took his third show to the Edinburgh Festival, Popcorn Lung, and received five-star reviews.
