Designed by celebrated Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, the QNCC – which is due to open in 2011 – will incorporate a 2,500-seat auditorium, a 4000-capacity conventional hall, several exhibition halls and a number of smaller presentation/meeting rooms.
Highlights of the audio and media installation are set to include: a NEXUS STAR audio network with 16 NEXUS Base Devices connected in a star topology; digital mixing consoles in the rooms that are to be used for major events; a large conference system for 4,000 delegates; and extensive AV systems including microphones, speakers, projectors and displays.
