RGB to stock INNO’s high-end in-wall solutions for the iPad and iPod, including precious woods, pure gold leaf, precious stones and the highest-quality carbon fibres and coatings. RGB Communications and German-based INNO International have announced an exclusive distribution agreement for the UK and Ireland, under which RGB will distribute INNO’s luxury in-wall mount solution for the iPad and iPod, shown for the first time at ISE at the end of January. “Following an approach from INNO, RGB quickly saw a gap in both the high-end residential and commercial marketplace for INNO’s in-wall systems, which have been designed from an interior design perspective using the highest quality materials which include: precious woods, pure gold leaf, precious stones and the highest-quality carbon fibres and coatings,” explained Gordon Innocent, RGB’s chairman. “Our confidence in the demand for INNO’s solution was rewarded at ISE where visitors to the INNO stand were very, very impressed with both the quality and design of the in-wall systems,” added Innocent. “In particular there was huge interest in the Magic series, with a Swarovski crystal finish (pictured), which turns the surface of the bezel into a sparkling sea of glittering reflections, which cannot fail to make an impression.” The style and design of the INNO in-wall mounts have been created with the needs of both architects and interior designers in mind to ensure that the solutions fit perfectly within any prestigious residential or commercial environment. The build quality of the INNO solutions match the quality of their design with all components being manufactured and assembled in Germany to the highest standards. “As a start-up company, INNO was keen to build a distributor relationship with RGB in order to ensure that we had a strong and viable market strategy from the get-go,” said Michael Przyklenk, INNO’s managing director. “RGB’s expertise within the high-end custom install and commercial marketplace, plus its exclusive distributorship of Savant Systems’ Apple-based residential and commercial control system, meant that RGB was the perfect fit for INNO.” The INNO in-wall solutions will cater for projects that depend on iPad or iPod touch apps in a stylish and permanent mounting. Examples include interactive signage, commercial AV control, residential automation systems and anywhere that benefits from a designer look to complement existing in-wall controls, such as those found in the KNX range of products. Key features of INNO’s in-wall mount include: an illuminating operating button, an integrated power supply, installation boxes for flush-mounting and drywall-mounting and integrated audio output. For applications in public areas, where potential theft may be an issue, INNO offers a secured version of its in-wall mount. In keeping with INNO’s high quality design, the secured version incorporates a completely unobtrusive and hidden locking mechanism operated by a security key.
