PMC adds to fact speaker series

The new stand-mounted fact.3 from manufacturer PMC follows in the footsteps of the recently launched fact.8. The two-way ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) speaker is said to delivery transparency, ease of drive and fine user controls that allow precise and individual tailoring of the low- and high-frequency response.

The specification includes the same wide surround SONOMEX soft-domed tweeter and twin hand-built 5.5in bass units found in the larger fact.8 floor-standing speaker. The fact.3 drivers are integrated by a crossover network featuring 14 elements and 24dB per octave filters, while the frequency response covers a range of 35Hz to 30kHz. The units arrive in slim-line cabinets available in finishes of Rich Walnut, Natural Oak, Tiger Ebony and Graphite Poplar.

PMC marketing manager Keith Tonge told IE Residential: “We have found there is an ever-expanding market for ‘traditional’ design-led products within the CI market. The retro chic look and feel of the fact series has appealed to interior designers who have their client in mind for the highest sound quality as well as a subtle design statement. The fact.3 provides the same signature fact audio quality but in a more flexible shelf or stand-mounted form.”

Tonge added that PMC’s European distribution network had taken delivery of the fact.8 and is “eagerly awaiting” the fact.3, which is due to be shipped by the end of April. fact.3 will carry a price tag of £3,995 inc. VAT (excluding stand).
