Parliamentary chamber fitted with RCF Forum 9000

In addition to the consoles being enabled for voting operations, it is also possible to assign a different level of audio to every seat and allow simultaneous translation.

Four RCF FDC 9900 dome cameras with high-speed movement enable images of the speakers to be conveyed to two large plasma displays via an FVM 9844 audio/video switching matrix. The parliamentary room also features RCFAcustica C3110 loudspeakers as its main audio system.

A spokesperson from the Parliament Technical Support team told II: “We are really pleased with the RCF Forum 9000 system. Its customisable ability to record Parliamentary Voting Procedures plus the Full Digital Audio Recording and Intervention Archiving applications gives us a state-of-the-art solution for the numerous disciplines within our parliament. Furthermore, the audio quality of the entire system is of an extremely high standard. In addition, the camera control and video playback facility completes the solution. We are even able to organise web-streaming of parliament meetings when required.”

The project and system start-up were carried out by the RCF Forum team.
