The new RE42 joins the RE18 and RE27 – the most recent additions to OmniMount’s growing portfolio of A/V rack solutions.
These systems, says OmniMount, are the only fully assembled rack solutions on the market to ship with cooling fans for equipment ventilation already pre-installed.
The RE42 is a 42-space rack made from heavy-gauge steel and features a standard 19-inch rack enclosure with lockable tempered-glass left- or right-hinged front door and side panels that keep components safely encased. A caster base enables easy movement, while adjustable feet level and stabilise the rack. All three enclosed racks are designed to be cost-effective out-of-the-box solutions to audio/video installers on the go. The rack systems ship completely assembled, with pre-configured rack shelving that easily accommodates a wide range of audio and video products, allowing for 16” or 20” deep of usable space.
These racks also feature a fully installed cooling system with top and bottom ventilation and pre-installed top cooling fans to ensure that the equipment is properly cooled.
“We’ve had development of a 42-space rack in our sights for quite some time now — the market demands it for larger homes and places of business,” said Hal Truax, director of the commercial division for OmniMount. “This piece is designed primarily for those bigger jobs with more than five pieces of audio/video equipment — and while there are competitively-sized models out there, installers will be hard-pressed to find another one that ships fully assembled, with pre-installed cooling fans.”
