KEF adds to Custom Installation range at ISE

The ISE exhibition – which concludes tomorrow (2 Feb) – has provided a venue for KEF to introduce five new square and rectangle in-wall/in-ceiling speakers to its Custom Installation (Ci) range.

The ISE exhibition – which concludes tomorrow (2 Feb) – has provided a venue for KEF to introduce five new square and rectangle in-wall/in-ceiling speakers to its Custom Installation (Ci) range.

Building on the ‘round’ CR and QR models released last year, the new designs feature KEF’s tangerine waveguide for a greater level of dispersion and drive protection. The five new models also include KEF’s magnetically-attached Ultra-Thin-Bezel (UTB), allowing the speakers to blend seamlessly in with any décor by offering the slimmest possible visible rim around the speaker.

Redesigned wider dog-leg fixings for a firmer hold and PCB crossover protection covers are among the other components of the new products.

An extensive team of KEF representatives, including the US-based senior product manager for custom installation, David Kroll, are on hand to offer advice until the end of ISE.

Steve Halsall, assistant managing director, KEF (UK), told IE Residential: “At ISE, KEF is to announce the release of new square and rectangle thin bezel ‘UTB’ speakers to join the seven round UTB speakers that were launched last year. The response to the new line from the trade has been fantastic and the new products, being shown for the first time at ISE, will ensure that Ci speaker sales continue to grow apace for KEF.”
