INFiLED LED brings immersive visuals to Esports World Cup concerts

More than 332sqm of company's ART 4.6 series displays deployed for four-week festival featuring international and regional artists, at 8,000-capacity ANB Arena, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

INFiLED LED technology provided the visual backbone of this summer’s Esports World Cup (EWC) concerts at the ANB Arena in Riyadh. The manufacturer’s ART 4.6 LED series displays were deployed across more than 330sqm of stage and scenic elements, supporting the month-long concert programme with international artists, running alongside the esports events.

The LED system was supplied and installed by Creative Technology Middle East (CTME) for entertainment company MDLBeast. The large-format displays were integrated with media systems and extensive lighting design to produce an immersive visual experience.

CTME oversaw the full design, supply and installation of all video, lighting and camera systems. The configuration centred around a 14m x 10m main LED screen (3024 x 2160p), flanked by two 76sqm IMAG displays (2052 x 1728p), with eight vertical LED columns (2160 x 108p) providing architectural depth and dynamic light interplay. The system was powered by Disguise d3 VX4+ media servers, while grandMA3 consoles provided unified control and synchronisation across lighting and video systems.

Visual content was produced in collaboration with performing artists and MDLBeast’s creative team, combining live camera feeds, motion graphics and artist-generated visuals for a fully immersive audience experience.

Carlos Aguilar, head of video at CTME, said: “The solution was a stage design built around extensive LED coverage, integrated IMAG screens for live relay, and vertical LED columns that added architectural depth and dynamic lighting interplay. This created a truly multi-layered visual experience, blending technical precision with artistic vision to keep audiences fully immersed throughout every performance.”

CTME selected the INFiLED ART 4.6 series for what the company describes as its robust touring performance, modularity and rapid setup capabilities. The panels’ construction and high colour fidelity are designed to ensure consistency across large surfaces and reliable performance under challenging lighting conditions.

Samer Otaibi, vice president of sales in the Middle East at INFiLED, added: “These attributes were essential in meeting the production’s demanding schedule and in maintaining visual impact under challenging lighting conditions. Our structural precision and reliability also enabled CTME to execute complex designs without compromise – an essential factor for multi-day, high-profile festival productions.”
