GreenBrook Electrical’s new PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) system for its KingShield LED striplight range effectively provides the functionality of a lighting control system for low cost domestic use. GreenBrook Electrical has introduced a new PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) system for its KingShield LED striplight range that will effectively provide the functionality of a lighting control system for low cost domestic use. Designed to sense movement and automatically switch on the LED light fitting, the PIR LED system is simple to install and offers flexible usage for a wide range of applications. For example, it can be used to switch on under-cupboard LED striplights when a homeowner enters the room, keeping them on until the room is vacated again. It can also work with lights installed inside cupboards, prompting them to switch on when the cupboard is opened and off again when it is closed. “Our LED range has proved extremely popular for domestic installations,” explains GreenBrook MD Richard Shaw. “The PIR system adds extra functionality to the low energy and aesthetic benefits that have already made the range so popular and will doubtless add wow factor too.”
