Istanbul’s Date Restaurant and Designer’s Corner, which serves as a multifunctional meeting point for Istanbul’s fashion and design communities has been equipped with an L-Acoustics sound reinforcement system centred on the self-powered coaxial series. The venue offers cuisine and a showroom especially reserved for famous and young fashion designers. Date’s first floor acts as a bar-restaurant during the day, which then transforms into a pre-club after 23:00.
The new audio system needed to complement both settings, with the club playing host to DJs from all over the world every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Istanbul-based integrator Elit Light Sound Technology was tasked with the design of the new sound reinforcement system. It selected an L-Acoustics system: incorporating eight Ti speakers from the coaxial series, with bass driven by a single SB18i subwoofer. Meanwhile, powering the system is an L-Acoustics LA4 amplifier.
