The principal reasons for specifying the DCN system were said to include ergonomic design, the ability to achieve total control through a central PC and high-quality speech intelligibility.
The National DCN system – installed within a two-week period and without interruption to meetings – includes 225 Discussion Units in flush-mount versions that allow easy ‘click-to-fit’ installation and a choice of functional panels that can be customised according to requirements. The specification also includes voting facilities, channel selection, camera control and simultaneous interpretation of Spanish, French and English.
