The DCN conferencing system – situated in ISESCO’s main, 230-capacity conference room – was selected in response to the facility’s requirements, which include regular hosting of meetings that entail simultaneous interpretation of Arabic, English and other European languages. Recommended by INES, the system was specified on the basis of its proven efficiency, flexibility and user-friendliness, as well as Bosch’s worldwide reputation and customer services.
Key features of the DCN Next Generation system include innovative transmission via a non-complex and robust network infrastructure combined with a complete range of Discussion Units. The configuration is said to ensure optimal audio quality for speech intelligibility and simplified installation and operation. Conference facilities include discussion, electronic voting, interpretation of up to 32 channels, remote interpretation, wireless reception, attendance registration and access control, video display, audio expansion and logging, and internet participation.
DCN Next Generation can be utilised without an operator, or with PC or touchscreen control using software modules and one or more operators.
