beyerdynamic releases new wireless conference systems

beyerdynamic unveils the Quinta conferencing system, which has already been awarded the Red Dot Design Award for its microphone units.

beyerdynamic introduces its fifth generation of wireless conference systems, Quinta at Prolight + Sound 2012.

Its system control unit is said to meet all requirements regarding operational safety, reliability or transmission security. Three frequency bands – 2.4, 5.2, 5.8GHz – transmit wireless communication, with channels switched between either automatically or manually.

Compliance with the latest regulations of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) makes the system is suitable for integration into existing or new building computer networks that comply the IEEE 802.1 IT standard (AVB). 
 Once configured, the numerous functions of the system can be controlled via Smartphone or tablet PC. For the chairman, delegate and double delegate microphone units, gooseneck microphones with XLR connectors in four different lengths available. The microphone unit features solid housing, scratch-resistant paint and brushed stainless steel. Other details include back-lit keys for dark rooms, inscription in braille and a programmable function button for the chairman.
