Surrey, UK-based distributor AWE has strengthened its range of Panasonic screens with the introduction of the TH-85PF12EK. The 85in plasma monitor features Panasonic NeoPDP technology – which is said to cut the power consumption of plasma televisions in half – along with improved processing and circuitry that enable full 1080p moving image resolution.
“This 85in screen allows installers to offer discerning clients a much larger than average screen that works in any lighting conditions, while retaining the installer’s ability to completely handle the installation themselves. The bigger 103in and 152in models are the ultimate screen sizes on the market, but by nature they require specialist planning, logistics and installation,” said Stuart Tickle, managing director of AWE. “For this reason we are seeing a significant uptake and encourage interested installers to come and see our demo model.”
If required, two different AV sources can be displayed on-screen with audio selectable between the two and images displayed either side-by-side or PiP. RS232 is standard, while the product arrives with a three-year on site warranty.
