Aquavision MirrorVisions installed at 14th century manor house

Aquavision's 26in Series 4 MirrorVision LCD displays have been installed throughout a 14th century manor house hotel in the Cotswolds.

Luxury hotel group Exclusive Hotels recently invested in Aquavision in-wall waterproof televisions for the refurbishment of a 14th century manor house in the UK’s Cotswolds region.

The four-star family owned country house retreat sits in acres of woodland and formal gardens. It has 48 individually styled bedrooms and suites, including luxury mews cottages.

Interior designer Monia Allegretti of design firm Archinterio, which is responsible for the design at all the hotels in the group, wanted guests to be able to relax in the their bathrooms and enjoy the views over the village from the bathroom of the Archway Cottage.

Each bathroom has his’ n hers’ sinks, a large walk-in shower and original stone window frames. The spaces have been installed with 26in Series 4 Aquavision MirrorVision finish televisions, which when switched off, take the form of a mirror, and when turned on give way to an LCD television screen.

The Aquavision Series 4 MirrorVision feature heated screens to prevent misting-up, DVB-T, 2 x HDMI inputs, full Scart input and IR in/out connections and come with a waterproof remote control and waterproof in-wall speakers.

“We always choose Aquavision as they blend in and work so well with all our designs. the picture quality is high, and we know our discerning guests appreciate these added luxuries when they visit our hotels,” commented Allegretti.

In addition, the remote control RSP, a remote switch panel, gives guests instant control of their television. This was installed into a simple back box, the same size as a normal light switch, and provides guests with simple, discrete, and permanent operation of the basic functions. This said to be the perfect solution for hoteliers who are frequently have to replace the batteries or even the remote controls themselves.
