Sony named official technology partner for new ABBA museum

Benefits of membership include use of the CEDIA logo, direct access to all CEDIA members, inclusion in the CEDIA Worldwide Resource Directory, and inclusion in the CEDIA UK and US Membership listings within the ‘members only’ area of the websites.

Membership also brings discounted rates for stand costs at ISE; CEDIA Expo in the UK, US and Australia; regional events and more. There is also access to industry information and the CEDIA office as a resource.

Requirements for membership include adherence to the CEDIA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, and the submission of three references from CEDIA members. Membership is renewed annually in January with an annual fee of _411.25 (_600).

Matt Nimmons (pictured), operations director for CEDIA, told II: “This membership category has been recently introduced following feedback from CEDIA members and other people in the home technology industry. By offering this membership category the aim is for programmers and consultants to receive recognition for the role they play.”

Elsewhere in CEDIA world, the next major event on the calendar is the CEDIA Expo 2008 at London’s Excel Centre. The training programme runs from June 23 to 26, while the exhibition begins a day later but also concludes on the 26th.
