Snelling among 10 members of new global alliance

The new PSNI Global Alliance members will meet for the first time at InfoComm.

A new global alliance of AV technology providers has been established by Professional Systems Network International (PSNI), which claims to be the oldest and most widely recognised commercial AV technology network in North America. The PSNI Global Alliance is an expansion of an existing $1.4 billion-dollar revenue network, and will include technology integrators and service providers in over 100 countries over the next three years.

The first ten global affiliate members, whose membership was approved on 25 May 2017, are:

• Snelling Business Systems (UK);
• Involve Visual Collaboration (UK);
• Candeo Vision (UK);
• DataVision (Germany);
• Meritec Presentation Products (Ireland)
• BIS (Netherlands);
• Solutione (Brazil);
• Resurgent (Mumbai, India);
• Granteq (Dubai, UAE);
• HB Communications (UK) – North American affiliate partner.

“The formation and structure of a global network is a complex initiative – one that we have been evaluating and studying for the past three years,” said Chris Miller, PSNI executive director. “The ability to deliver global integration and managed services to enterprise clients through a connected network of trusted partners is now one step closer to reality for a select group of best-in-class technology providers as part of the PSNI Global Alliance.”

Toby Wise (pictured), managing director at Snelling Business Systems, commented: “Knowledge is power in enterprise communications and technology. Global enterprises are experiencing a surge in demand for real-time communication, collaboration and display technologies. However, finding partners in the AV/UC space that can implement, deploy, service and support that strategy on a multi-national and multi-site basis is difficult. The mission of PSNI is to take the guesswork out of finding and connecting with a global partner with proven credentials for stakeholders”.

Along with other PSNI Global Alliance members, Snelling can access the benefits of standardisation in all environments, a single point of contact for global projects, economy and quality – among many other factors.

“Over the last year, our focus has been to create a strong vetting plan for selecting the right partners and a sustainable business model that provides a win-win-win business model for everyone – especially the end-users of technology who are focused on deliverables and outcomes,” stated John Fuchs, director of international development and original founder of PSNI. “The partnerships have to be fair and profitable for everyone involved while at the same time staying competitive in the market.”

He added: “Snelling Business Systems were appointed to the PSNI Global Alliance because they exemplified the core values and pedigree we set as prerequisite to be a member. High among those values are commitment and trust. The entire network needs to know that each affiliate has an enduring commitment to excellence in every aspect of AV/IT solution design, delivery and support and can be trusted to uphold the high standards that our clients and partners expect every day.”

“We believe that the success of any global network requires an inclusive business approach from a diverse membership of thought-leaders backed up by a full-time leadership team that can coordinate, implement, drive, and deliver sustainable programs and value,” stated Miller. “This is a core strength of PSNI management, who have decades of experience in ownership of integration and service-based companies.”

The PSNI Global Alliance members and the PSNI Board of Directors will have its first meeting at InfoComm on Thursday 15 June, following the annual PSNI Preferred Vendor Partner (PVP) recognition breakfast.
