Promethean wins BETT award

At the BETT Awards last week, educational technology company Promethean was named 'ICT Company of the Year'.

Promethean was named ‘ICT Company of the Year’ at the BETT Awards last week. Held every January at London’s Olympia, BETT showcases technology for education, attracting around 30,000 visitors. The award was judged by independent senior managers and teachers with a focus on effective classroom solutions and proven results.

“Winning ICT Company of the Year is a significant accomplishment, and a perfect start to the New Year,” said Jean-Yves Charlier, chief executive officer of Promethean (pictured). “BETT celebrates the very best in education technology and innovation, and we are thrilled to receive this prestigious accolade for our contribution to the sector. We remain committed to innovation and improvement, and BETT has also seen us launch our next generation range of interactive whiteboard, the ActivBoard 500 Pro Series which combines advanced pen and touch capability for the first time.”
