As part of the manufacturer’s expansion policy in the Middle East, Proel recently held its first conference for the region at the Novotel World Trade Center in Dubai.

The three-day event attracted professionals from a host of Middle Eastern and North African countries. The programme featured presentations on the importance of these markets for Proel and of the company’s strengths across multiple areas: R&D, logistics, and a new management system set to ensure greater efficiency in the future. There were also several specific Proel product sessions, while Turbosound also sent its management team to the event to introduce its latest items and to further consolidate its presence in the region.

Proel staff who participated included group president Fabrizio Sorbi, managing director Massimo Signor and business development director Simon Sinclair.

Hasna Nadhi, Proel’s area manager, commented: “In its first edition, the Proel Middle East Conference was extremely successful. First of all, it is important to note the high level of interest that the event received, considering that every one of our distributors in the region participated: from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, The UAE, and Oman.

“We were struck by the high level of professional interest shown by the participants regarding Proel in general and, in particular, the technical aspects of certain products. There were also many questions about Proel’s plans for development in these countries. Fabrizio Sorbi responded to these, outlining the commitment of the Group to the concept of partnership and sharing assured business perspectives. At the end, everyone departed quite satisfied, and looking forward to the next edition of the Proel Middle East Conference.”
