Prism Projection appoints White Light as European distributor

Prism Projection has long been White Light's UK distributor - but now the company has expanded its responsibilities, having been appointed to cover Europe.

Lighting fixture manufacturer Prism Projection has appointed UK-based entertainment lighting specialist White Light as its exclusive distributor for all of Europe.

The agreement, reached following discussions at last year’s LDI Show, expands White Light’s involvement with Prism Projection; White Light has served as Prism’s exclusive UK distributor for the last few years, during which time Prism’s RevEAL range – CW washlight, Studio washlight and Profile spotlight – have been chosen for a number of new UK lighting installations.

“We’re thrilled that Prism have entrusted us with looking after their products across Europe,” said White Light’s Sales Director, Peter Threadgold. “We knew their products were something special from the first moment we saw them at LDI 2009; more importantly we knew the people behind the products were special, with a different approach, an understanding of what was important to lighting professionals, and a preference for getting a product right rather than just rushing it to market. The awards the RevEAL range has collected since its launch, and more importantly the many users adopting RevEAL products, from theatres to television studios, show that approach is a successful one. We look forward to introducing many more people to these exciting lights.”

“Peter Threadgold and his team at White Light did a really good job of representing our fixtures in the UK – which is why we were happy to appoint them to represent us across Europe,” said David Crookham, VP Sales and Marketing for Prism Projection. “We know they will offer anyone interested in the RevEAL range the highest standard of care, attention and support. We look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
