For the large majority of ISE exhibitors, demonstrations of their capabilities are limited to their own stands. However, ISE Technology Partners have the opportunity of demonstrating what they can do elsewhere around the show. Two of these Technology Partners, Omnivision and PresTop, were asked by Integrated Systems Events to provide comprehensive wayfinding and visitor information functionality using touchscreen technology – something in which they have over nineteen years’ experience.
The requirement, according to Omnivision CEO Alexander Aelberts – whose company is responsible for the development of the Omnitapps multi-touch suite of applications that are a key feature of the installations around the RAI – was for a complete turnkey solution, involving hardware, software, installation and support.
The Omnitapps multi-touch application will feature on a 96in videowall, on 18 different 46in information kiosks from Philips, and on two ‘Giant Tablets’ provided by PresTop. ISE visitors can use them to navigate around the show as well as to find out more information about exhibitors.
