Australia-based lighting control systems manufacturer LSC Lighting Systems has announced the opening of a fully staffed office in Knoxville, Tennessee, US.
The move is part of the company’s on-going commitment to customer support from both a sales and technical perspective.
The office will be headed up by current LSC president and former Avolites Amercia president Rob Steel (pictured). It will hold an extensive range of stock, undertake warranty and general service work in-house, as well as provide technical support and operator training.
Steel commented: “I am so excited to be involved with LSC. I have had dealings with them in the past and have found them to be a great bunch of guys with a fantastic product range. For the American market, LSC is like a hidden treasure and I intend to make sure that the treasure doesn’t remain hidden any longer.”
Gary Pritchard, CEO of the LSC operation, said: “We have been planning for many years to open an office in the US as we see it as a very important market for us and we feel that it is only by local supply and support can we provide a viable and professional service. The recent release of the new Clarity LX range of consoles made this the perfect time to open the LSC USA office.”
