James Conlon, managing director of NIAVAC, the largest independent AV integrator in Northern Ireland, was recognised at the annual Belfast Business Top 50 Awards for his business achievements.
The Belfast Business Top 50 Awards took place at the Titanic Belfast visitor attraction and celebrate businessmen and women in Belfast and beyond for their commitment in driving economic success in Northern Ireland. As one of Northern Ireland’s prominent business innovators, Conlon received his award from Irish Minister of State, Sean Sherlock.
NIAVAC is one of Northern Ireland’s largest AV employers with purpose-built £1.7m premises in Belfast and many of the region’s biggest blue-chip businesses and public sector organisations as its customers. These include Progressive Insurance, Ulster Hospital, Terex Powerscreen, Graham Construction, Titanic Belfast, several government departments as well as education and healthcare organisations. The company’s growing event division also provides high quality technical support to organisers of large conferences, award ceremonies, exhibitions and events.
“I am delighted to be recognised in the Belfast Business Top 50 in 2015 and to be in such great company at this prestigious event,” said Conlon. “Through NIAVAC, myself and the team have worked hard to deliver a wide range of audio visual solutions across both the corporate and public sector. The Top 50 Awards ceremony was an excellent opportunity to celebrate, with other business people in Northern Ireland, our local strong business success stories.”
“Over time AV systems have become essential to the operation of government and companies of all shapes and sizes and, in our experience, the requirement for innovative AV solutions is growing in almost every business sector here. It was humbling to see NIAVAC, myself and my team recognised in today’s awards and it is a measure of the impact that innovative AV is having on the entire business sector here.”
