Tech Talks look to the future of AI

Although AI has become a popular talking point, its utility is far wider than many realise. Within the ISE 2024 free Tech Talks programme, leading experts will shed light on AI’s potential to nurture collaboration and elevate productivity.

Fardad Zabetian is the CEO of KUDO, an AI-based real-time translation solution and ISE’s official conference technology partner. Titled ‘Language-Accessible Spaces with AI: the Untapped Opportunity for AV Integrators’, his session will laud the transformative power of AI in advancing accessibility. He will also perform a live demo of KUDO on stage to showcase the practicality of AI translation services in the events industry. His session will run from 16:15-16:50 on Tuesday 30 January.

Where KUDO knocks down the barriers between languages, Microsoft’s Copilot does so between programs. Microsoft’s Tech Talk Español at ISE 2024 – English title – ‘Impact of AI on our Day-to-Day Lives’ – centres on how seamless integration between AI tools and other day-to-day programs can streamline repetitive tasks, analyse large data sets, and assist in creative processes. The session will run from 11:00-11:40 on Tuesday 30 January.

A rounded analysis of AI would not be complete without an assessment of its impacts on content. A panel discussion from the Catalan AV Cluster (Thursday 1 February, 16:40-17:00) will discuss the role of AI analytics in content, as well as what checks and balances can be implemented to ensure responsible use; while a Tech Talks Español panel session (Wednesday 31 January, 10:30-11:10) lays out the implications of AI – in its various forms – on the future of digital signage.

All Tech Talks take place on the ISE Show Floor Stage in Hall 4.
