Bringing DSP speaker management to live and fixed installations, the DPX4800 from Guangzhou Sinojoint Electronics is a 4-in/8-out digital speaker management system.
Designed to cater for any crossover configuration, it is managed by an ADI DSP and features 24-bit AD and 32-bit DA converters to provide DSP processing and control across four analogue inputs and eight analogue outputs.
Each input channel provides a choice of EQ with 12-band parametric EQ and dynamic EQ, gain control, noise gate, expander and configurable delay.
Each output offers up to 16-band of parametric EQ, gain control, noise gate, RMS compressor and configurable delay. Crossover filters provide slopes from 6dB per octave up to 48dB per octave. Each output path also features a peak limiter, and FIR HP/LP/Band-pass filters.
The DPX4800 supports a full matrix mixing mode where inputs may be routed/mixed in any ratio to any output. For remote configuration and control, the DPX4800 can be connected via USB or RS485 connections.
