Compact consoles contain comprehensive pro audio capabilities

Touch-screen control: Yamaha’s new DM7 Digital Mixing Console

Two recently introduced digital mixing consoles are on show from Yamaha in Hall 3.

The DM7 series is highly scalable and flexible, and comes in three packages, with several further options available. The DM7 is a Dante-equipped 120-input digital mixing console with 28 faders, plus two 12in and one 7in multi-touch screens, while the DM7 Compact has 16 faders, two multitouch screens, and is rack-mountable. A further DM7 Control expansion controller is available for broadcast or theatre use.

The smaller DM3 series comes in Dante and non-Dante versions, and can be used as a portable, full-specification music production tool as well as for fixed installations.

They are joined at ISE by Yamaha’s latest Adecia systems for conferencing, which promise clear, reliable audio for corporate and educational applications.

Also new is the latest version of Yamaha’s ProVisionaire software for design, management and control, which offers a user-friendly way to streamline audio setups.
