ISE 2014: CEDIA to launch new market-focused training

CEDIA has released details of its education programme for ISE 2014. A number of new sessions will be on offer to delegates as the association look to reflect the current state of the CI market.

CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has announced its education programme for ISE 2014, which will incorporate new courses to reflect the state of the residential custom installation market.

The association will be offering 15 courses in total focusing on technical training and business development. New additions to the programme will include: Let’s Make Money; Residential Networking; 4K Video Compatibility and HDMI System Design; and Standardising Your Business Model.

Last year’s offering welcomed over 200 attendees. CEDIA said it has developed the 2014 programme to be specific to the requirements of its members and to reflect the state of the residential custom installation (CI) market. This involves greater emphasis on business development to assist companies in understanding how they can expand their expertise and take on board ideas for boosting sales and profitability.

“CEDIA training is designed to meet the needs of all delegates, whether they are new to the industry or if they’re an established business,” explained Matt Dodd, director of CEDIA Education Region 1. “ISE attracts a wide range of visitors, providing us with the perfect platform to reach delegates from across Europe and beyond. For 2014, we are hosting a combination of new sessions and existing courses, which have proved popular in the past. The CEDIA training at ISE will cover the latest trends and technologies to allow businesses to stay ahead of this ever growing industry.”

CEDIA invitation code: 706374 will waive the €60 entry charge to ISE. To book a place on the CEDIA Education programme visit the ISE website.
