ISE: Europe’s leading smart home show

Thanks to the backing of CEDIA, ISE is where the European smart home industry comes together. At ISE 2024 you’ll find an exciting line-up of smart home tech suppliers as well as a full roster of expert speakers sharing their knowledge.

Your first port of call should be the Residential and Smart Building Zone in Hall 2. Among the major brands present in this zone are ISE’s co-owner CEDIA; Presenting Show Partner KNX; controls manufacturers including Basalte, Lutron, Rako, RTI and Snap One (owner of Control 4); and residential audio specialists including Focal, Harman Luxury, Sonance and Trinnov Audio.

In Hall 3, Crestron offers a wide variety of control solutions as well as audio, video, lighting and access solutions for the home. This is also where you’ll find a number of companies that operate in both the residential and commercial spaces, including LG, Samsung and Sony.

Located upstairs in the CC1 suite, CEDIA’s Smart Home Technology Conference offers an a-la-carte selection of education and training sessions; alternatively, a CEDIA Pass offers unlimited access.

The Conference offers nearly 60 hours of training sessions that fall into three broad areas: installation and design; business excellence; and future trends.

A key focus for CEDIA at ISE 2024 is its new RP22 recommended practice document for immersive audio design, the result of three years’ work across the industry, which CEDIA believes will be “nothing less than game-changing”. Also on offer are courses on new lighting technologies, WiFi-6 and WiFi-7, and subwoofer room gain.

See the ISE website for full details of the Smart Home Technology Conference at ISE 2024.

Beginning at 11:00 and with free-to-attend sessions starting on the hour each day of the show, the Smart Home Technology Stage in Hall 2 offers an abundance of valuable learning opportunities. Among the topics covered are:

  • AI threats to the AV industry
  • Opportunities in sustainable business
  • A cybersecurity perspective on smart home AV
  • Insights into the state of the US and UK professional smart home industry from CEDIA’s 2023 Professional Smart Home Market Analysis report – presented publicly for the first time at ISE 2024

You’ll find a full listing of the Smart Home Technology Stage sessions on the ISE website.
