At ISE 2013 Zytronic will showcase its newly developed, innovative multi-touch solution for digital signage touchscreen applications, based on its award winning robust Projected Capacitive Technology (PCT). The solution consists of the new ZXY200 touch controller accompanied by a ruggedized and scalable touch sensor and is capable of supporting ten simultaneous touch points.
The new Multi Touch PCT brings smartphone and tablet-like functionalities to a much wider range of large display formats, used in self-service, digital signage and industrial applications. It has been designed to be plug and play compatible with Microsoft’s multi-touch capable operating systems – Windows 7 and the forthcoming Windows 8 – and can also be used in conjunction with multi-touch application software such as Nuiteq’s Snowflake and Omnivision’s Omnitapps platforms. Demonstrations of 22in, 32in and 46in versions of the Zytronic Multi Touch PCT solution can be viewed at the Zytronic stand A128 in hall 9.
