ISE 2013: Cloud Electronics uncovers its offering

Among the products to be launched by the UK-based manufacturer at ISE will be a new Multi Zone/Paging amplifier which can be controlled remotely and provides multiple connection options.

Cloud Electronics is launching a raft of new products at this year’s ISE, including the 46/120 Multi Zone/Paging Amplifier, which follows its ‘highly regarded’ big brother, the 46/50. The new amp offers simple, direct connection of two microphones and six music sources which can be routed to feed four different output zones with a mix of up to 120W(4 ohms) or 100W (70V/100V per zone) of high-quality audio.

The 46/120 music programme and level can be controlled remotely as well as through the Zone 1 Optional Input/Remote Device (LM-2). There’s also an optional control interface card for RS232, Ethernet & Digital Paging (PM-4A) along with Clouds conventional paging facility. The Media version plays MP3 or WMA files directly from a USB device or SD memory card plugged into the front panel of the unit, via a simple set of playback controls. All standard data rates and sampling frequencies are supported.

The company will also be exhibiting a new addition to the DCM-1 range of 8-Zone Digital Mixer and Accessories, the DCM-1e. It includes the addition of an ethernet port and web control interface. This allows on- and off-site management and configuration by mobile Ddevice, touch-screen, PC or 3rd party control interface solutions.

The company is also launching a host of new ‘media-style’ remote wall control and inputs plates for the CX-Series, Z-Series and DCM-1 series of zone mixers. The ‘media-style’ plates are aimed at system integrators / AV installers typically familiar with mounting input sockets / modules into conduit trunking and wall, table and floor boxes.
