Vaddio’s InfoComm 2013 stand sees the launch of the company’s EasyMIC PRO, which allows any third-party microphone to be a USB microphone when paired with an EasyUSB mixer/amp. The EasyMIC PRO Mixer incorporates Vaddio’s SmartMIC technology into the mixer, providing distributed multichannel acoustic echo cancellation and automatic microphone mixing. Additional DSP technologies include noise reduction, microphone gating, equalisation, filtering and AGC for automatically calibrating to the live requirements of the room.
The EasyMIC PRO Mixer comes equipped with four independent echo cancellation microphone inputs and one discreet output for interfacing to the Vaddio EasyTALK USB Mixer/Amp. The system can be expanded to support eight microphones by adding an additional EasyMIC PRO Mixer.
“When we launched our EasyTALK USB MicPOD microphones we heard from a lot of our integrators that while they loved our USB MicPODs, they also wanted to have the capability of adding any professional microphone to their system designs,” explained Vaddio’s CEO, Rob Sheeley.
