GRIVEN gives AC-ET UK exclusivity

Italian lighting manufacturer GRIVEN sealed a deal at PLASA for AC-ET to become its exclusive UK distributor.

A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) has been officially announced as the exclusive UK distributor for Italian manufacturer GRIVEN’s LED lighting solutions.

GRIVEN’s product range complements AC-ET’s portfolio of LED brands, enabling the company to offer an even wider choice of solutions to suit different applications.

In addition, sister company A.C. Special Projects (ACSP) provides bespoke solutions and installations for a variety of architectural projects that are suited to the GRIVEN product range. GRIVEN’s ability to produce custom lighting solutions also strengthens this synergy.

Showcased on ACSP’s stand at PLASA was the new Powershine Ultra Spot RGBW, which features an ultra-narrow (4 degree), sharp projection of light that is claimed to deliver new levels of flexibility when lighting building and architectural projects.

The Powershine series is a range of IP66 LED colour changer fixtures that are available in a single or double cluster configuration featuring RGBW, white, monochrome or dynamic white LED set-ups. Also available is the Polar Edition, featuring an integrated de-icing system with electrically heated glass.

The Zaphir RGBW/W & DW range has been developed for architectural applications. The Parade S-RGBW/W & S-DW series are modular battens, while Graph-i-spot and Graph-i-code are GRIVEN’s family of high impact weatherised pixel lighting solutions that can be used to screen low resolution video footage or display graphic patterns.

GoboLED 80 & 80D allow for gobo projections in outdoor and indoor locations, using a single white LED instead of a traditional metal halide lamp.

AC-ET’s UK Sales Director, Jonathan Walters and ACSP’s Operations Manager, William Yeo met with GRIVEN’s Director of Sales & Marketing, Danilo Bettinazzi at the PLASA show to seal the deal.

“Their fixtures are extremely well engineered, robust and excellent for dealing with extreme environments and weather conditions,” said Yeo. “ GRIVEN can also supply bespoke solutions as required, which will be very useful for our clients’ very specific project requirements. We are looking forward to a long, successful and highly creative working relationship with lots of synergy and mutual respect.”

“We wanted to partner with AC-ET because we share the same long term goals, core values and work ethics,” said Bettinazzi.
