Eve of the show: ISE prepares to welcome visitors from around the world

Mike Blackman, show managing director (pictured), comments: “This is a true testament to not only the AV industry, but also the exhibition medium, that many exhibitors are using ISE 07 to show and introduce (new) products to the industry. We have invested heavily on attracting serious buyers and key decision makers to the show and this is reflected by the fact that we have a record number of exhibitors at the show.”

In addition to a record number of exhibitors and special features, ISE 07 will again be offering a comprehensive and exciting conference programme for business, sales and technical professionals.

InfoComm International will be launching its European Market Definition and Strategy Study which it claims will offer conclusive proof that the audiovisual industry produces annual revenues of _8.5 billion in Europe. The presentation will include discussions on product and service opportunities in the AV industry as well as a look at technological trends and social and economic issues likely to affect the way pro AV products are bought and sold in Europe.

CEDIA will host a number of educational sessions throughout the show for the residential electronic systems professionals and custom installers. The sessions include: IP for integrators; an introduction to residential multiroom audio, and making the move to residential custom integration.

NSCA will present educational workshops, aimed at those who require detailed technical information and best practice advice on managing a successful systems integration company.

A series of display pavilions will include the return of the popular InfoComm Large Venue and Digital Cinema Displays, CEDIA Home Cinema Theatre and Residential Solutions Area, and a first for ISE is the launch of the Interactive Multi Media Conference Pavilion where visitors can find a variety of voice, data, and video conferencing applications and solutions.

The online registration service will continue to remain open right up to, and during the days of, the show. To avoid having to queue, visitors are urged to act before 30 January to reserve their show badge. Visitors who register online before the show opens will also benefit from a reduced entry fee.
