As the doors to ISE 2012 opened, following the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, an expectant crowd of attendees made their way into the largest Integrated Systems Europe show ever.

ISE 2012 looks set to defy the prevailing economic conditions and deliver a record attendance figure, following what Integrated Systems Events managing director Mike Blackman described yesterday as a “phenomenal” level of pre-registrations. “It’s more than a tradeshow – it’s an event,” he said, in reference to the number of conferences, education sessions, meetings and parties being held in and around ISE. “This week, Amsterdam is the focus of our industry,” he added.
