Bose Enteros PA/VA market

Bose is set to unveil its EN54-approved Entero Voice alarm system at this year's ISE as the company looks to compete with other pro audio manufacturers in the buoyant PA/VA market.

This year’s Integrated Systems Europe will see Bose introduce the new Bose Entero Voice Alarm system. The EN54-certified solution integrates music, paging and evacuation messages to form a ‘complete, cost effective and reliable system for businesses’.

The Entero Voice Alarm continuously monitors all voice-related loudspeaker lines, amplifiers and wiring, whilst checking the links to the fire detection system. In an emergency, the system overrides the sound system’s current audio source, automatically issuing evacuation messages at an optimum volume and with clear speech intelligibility.

Each system supports a range of mixing and routing products, and can be controlled both centrally and locally, enabling local adjustments to source and level.

“Bose offers high quality business music systems for a wide range of commercial applications,” said Ron Holtdijk, general manager Europe, Bose Professional Systems Division. “But whatever your venue, making sure your evacuation system works seamlessly with the audio system and meets current EU standards is critical in the case of an emergency. That’s where the new Bose Entero Voice Alarm system truly comes into its own.”

The tonal balance is said to be consistent over the whole target coverage area thanks to new Bose technologies and innovative designs, such as Bose RoomMatch and PowerMatch. This provides sound designers with the necessary scalability and configurability for venues including theatres and concert facilities, sports venues and arenas, performing arts centres, and houses of worship.
